Diana Nichols is Founder and President of Gold Key Consulting, LLC. She is responsible for the company's vision, strategic planning, new initiatives, marketing, sales and public relations.
Nichols founded Gold Key Consulting, LLC in 1993 and single-handedly launched one of the first businesses dedicated solely to Consumer Credit Consulting and Education. She has been responsible for driving a small cottage industry to the thriving, well- established business that it is today. Currently, Nichols focuses primarily on new initiatives and Managed Credit for High Net Worth Clients, although she still maintains the status of Subject Matter Expert in the Consumer Credit field.
As a ground-breaking industry leader, Nichols was nominated for Woman of the Year at The Greenwich Conference in 2000 for her work in education and proposed legislation. Shortly after starting Gold Key Consulting, she began leading seminars and classes for Mortgage Originators and Real Estate companies. This led to teaching at local universities and the Small Business Administration (SBA), which in turn prompted Nichols to involve herself in state and federal legislation. In 2001, Nichols was involved with a program for first-time home buyers through Housing and Urban Development (HUD). She worked with CT State Senator Smith's office and Senator Dodd's to propose mandatory credit training at the University level. In addition to multiple radio interviews and newspaper articles on the state of credit awareness, Nichols was a contributing writer for the chapter on credit in "The Rookie's Guide to Money Management" by Carolina Edwards, best-selling author of "Money Doesn't Grow on Trees", and Ray Martin of The Today Show while she was still in her twenties. In the same year Nichols was also selected to be the Jr. Spokesperson for Creditland.com with Ray Martin as Sr. spokesperson.
Gold Key Consulting, LLC works with Private Bankers and Mortgage Originators at companies like "Merrill Lynch", "Citigroup" and is the "Exclusive Credit Consultant approved by MSSB corporate, for their "Ultra High Net Worth" client group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Ms. Nichols created credit training in collaboration with MSSB for the employee's at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney for their company website. Ms. Nichols is an FCRA expert and has provided data furnisher training and employee training for numerous Banks and Lending Institutions.
Nichols has a BA in Political Science with a Minor in History from Pace University, has further studied at Yale University and was trained by Lillian Wilder in public speaking and media broadcasting. She was very active with speaking engagements at Colleges and Universities as well as for private interest groups like the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Small Business Administration. She was active and on the team with "Three Star General Marty Steele" to put together a credit program for the transition program for veterans, a NY 501c3. Currently, Ms. Nichols is a contributor writer for CNBC, providing expert advice on the intricacies of Credit-Management. Diana Nichols is considered one of the top credit experts in the country.
Ms. Nichols was an accomplished ballet dancer in her childhood and teens and taught dance part time into her early thirties. She attended "John Robert Powers" Finishing School in the summers of 1988-1991.
